Khatchig Jingirian serves as President of Smythe & Cross Fine Jewelry, bringing to the role a lifetime of immersion in the art, style, and commerce of fine jewelry. Raised in his family’s jewelry business, he gained early, intimate familiarity with the many facets of the trade, from gemstone sourcing and metalwork to client relations and market trends.

After earning his MBA, Khatchig assumed leadership in the family enterprise while also cultivating a parallel passion for retail. Over the years, he refined his understanding of what brings clients both satisfaction and confidence, knowledge he applied to launch his own vision. In 2010 he founded Smythe & Cross, fulfilling a long-held ambition to establish a boutique that combines rigorous craftsmanship, discerning taste, and a highly personalized customer experience.

Complementing his business acumen, Khatchig holds the Applied Jewelry Professional diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), affirming his technical expertise in gemstone and precious-metal work. Under his guidance, Smythe & Cross is committed to sourcing exceptional materials, maintaining the highest standards of design and setting, and serving the community with integrity, knowledge, and refined elegance.

With more than 30 years of experience in the jewelry industry, Pamela Purcell Smith has been an integral part of Smythe & Cross since its founding. Holding a degree in Fine Art, Pamela began her career as the owner of a private jewelry design company in San Francisco, where she combined artistic vision with technical precision.

Her career path later led her to manage several of the most distinguished jewelry stores in Silicon Valley and Beverly Hills, where she developed a reputation for her discerning eye, refined taste, and dedication to client service. Pamela has also collaborated with some of the world’s most prestigious jewelry manufacturing houses, giving her access to rare, exceptional, and one-of-a-kind pieces that few in the industry encounter.
